

I was born in Brazil...
and my family history is the expression of what my country is: a complex mix of cultures and tastes. My direct roots are Italian, African, Portuguese and Polish. Perhaps, this explains why I feel home practically in every country I have been.
Music came almost accidentely into my life, still in Curitiba, my hometown. An Art's History Professor, Cirlei Donin, and an argentinian conductor, the late Lázaro Wenger were my tutors in this exciting new world. At the beggining of my 4th-year at the University, in the class of Denise Sartori, my life suffered a radical change.
Personal reasons lead me to join the Navy in Brazil and move to Rio de Janeiro to serve for 5 years in the Marine Corps. It was not easy to keep up with singing. Time was limited. However, I could participate in competitions and some small productions, eventually.
My debut in the great Teatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro was almost simultaneous with the end of my time in the navy. Life's speed was incredible at that time. A couple of months later, at the age of 26, I was moving to Germany to start a new life, to become a singer again. At the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart, Prof. Ulrike Sonntag was the right person at the right moment. During my Master's Degree I was selected to be a part of the International Opera Studio of the Stuttgart National Opera (Staatsoper). Life after that got even faster.
In these last years I have been singing roles like Rodolfo in La Bohéme, Stewa in Jenufa, Duca di Mantova in Rigoletto, Canio in I Pagliacci, Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni, Narraboth in Salome, both Steurmann and Erik in Wagner's Der Fliegende Holländer, Nemorino in Elisir d'amore, Peter Quint and the Prologue in Britten's The turn of the Screw, Alfred in Fledermaus, Cassio in Otello, Lensky in Evgeny Onegin, and most recently, Cavaradossi in Tosca, among others.
As a concert singer (with Mozart's and Verdi'sRequiem, Mendelssohn's Paulus, oder Bruckner's Te Deum, as ex.) or on the opera stage in Houses like Darmstadt, Görlitz, Rio de Janeiro, Stuttgart, Winterthur, Petruzzelli di Bari, Detmold, Osnabrück, Philarmonie Essen, I have had the honor to work with professionals as H. Rilling, L. Rademacher, S. Cambreling, P. Kuhn, G. Mészáros, G. Carella, I. Karabtchevsky, G. Bisanti, U. Sandner,

M. Schønwandt, N. Kok, B. Epstein, A. Sanguinetti, I. Anguélov, W. Humburg, J. Wieler, D. Schmeding, S. Morabito, J. Ratke, K. Metzger, C. von Götz, P. Konwitschny, H. Horstkotte and C. Poewe.
